A copy of Sound Bites came to me here in New Hampshire and I thoroughly enjoy it. The Busy Day Beef Casserole from Barbara Haupt is one of my favorites -- very easy to put together and delicious. If there is any left over (a big "if") it will taste just as good the next day. The chocolate pie recipe from Judy Elmer is another favorite, simple to make and you won't need to worry about leftovers -- because there won't be any! I laughed aloud while reading Bobby Rich's comments on his meatloaf recipe on page 120. His sense of humor made for fun reading and his meatloaf ain't bad either! I have a small collection of cookbooks and I am very happy to add Sound Bites to it.
