How Can Yuma Residents Listen to Sun Sounds? 1. The most common way is through a special radio. These radios are specially tuned to receive a sub carrier (SCA) available on any FM radio station’s broadcast. In Yuma, Sun Sounds is carried on the KTTI-FM SCA. Call Sun Sounds using our toll-free number for an application today!
2. Another way to listen is through the internet at http://sunsounds.org.
3. And if you have Time Warner Cable you can listen to Sun Sounds on channel 70.
Seeking Yuma Volunteer Coordinator
We do not yet have a Yuma office and studio facility, and so we are seeking a local Yuma resident to act as our liaison in the area. This person will help identify additional volunteers, help us to do outreach to the community and the people we hope to serve, and in general assist us to provide services now, and eventually, construct a local office and studio facility.
The person we seek should be a self-starter who likes to plan, organize and create. Training will be provided to aid this individual to understand the nature, importance, and limitations of the services we provide. Ideally, we'd like a person who can routinely volunteer for at least 8 hours per week.
