About Sun Sounds

Sun Sounds of Arizona Interviews Acclaimed Arizona Author, J. A. Jance, About Her Newly Released New York Times Best-seller, Justice Denied

ON THE AIR

We have a wonderful treat in store.  I’d like to welcome… are you ready?  JA Jance.

Joyce Totlis didn’t know much about JA Jance before she said those words and agreed to interview the acclaimed Arizona mystery writer on Sun Sounds’ BookWorld.

You would never know it.  They sound like two old friends lost in conversation about fiction and reality… weaving in and out of the art of story telling and character development to real life inspirations and heart ache... with lots of laughs in between.

There’s even a touch of mystery.

“I never know how it’s going to end when I start it,” reveals JA about her stories.  ”For me, writing the book becomes the same kind of experience as it is for people who read it.  I write to find out what happens and that propels me.”

JA accepted an invitation to talk to Joyce and BookWorld listeners in spite of her busy tour for Justice Denied, her 36th novel, which debut #8 on the September 2007 New York Time’s Best Seller List.

Joyce usually volunteers her time reading to Book World listeners.  While she’s been an active Sun Sounds volunteer for the last 4 years, this is the first time she’s revealed her talent for interviewing.
